UNSW PsychFest

30 May 2016 - 9:00am – 7 June 2016 - 3:45pm  |  John Reid Theatre, AGSM building

We are pleased to announce the inaugural UNSW School of Psychology Research Festival, or ‘UNSW PsychFest’.

The primary aim of PsychFest is to showcase the research that is currently being undertaken by the staff and students of the School of Psychology at UNSW, and also to give those students who are considering a research career an opportunity to meet potential supervisors and hear more about their research.

When: PsychFest will be held over two consecutive Mondays: 30 May and 6 June:

  • Day 1 (Monday 30 May) will run from 9am - 4pm (3 sessions: 9-11, 11:30-1:30, 2-4pm). Day 1 will consist primarily of the research presentations of the 3rd-year research internship students (PSYC3361). Each session will begin with some select presentations from members of our Academic staff.
  • Day 2 (Monday 6 June) will run as a single session from 1 – 4pm. Day 2 will consist of numerous (approx. 25) short (5 minute) presentations from members of our Academic and Postgraduate staff.
  • Both days will conclude at 4pm with drinks and nibbles, where students and staff will have an opportunity to mingle and chat. Drinks and nibbles on Monday 30 May will celebrate, not only the achievements of the third years and staff, but National Reconciliation Week (see the flyer here).

Where: Both days will be held in the John Reid theatre in the AGSM building.

RSVP: RSVPs are not necessary, but be sure to turn up early as seating may be limited.
