TASIT

TASIT is an assessment tool that uses professional enacted videoed vignettes as stimuli in order to assess the ability to recognise basic emotions in others (PART 1). It is also designed to assess whether people can interpret conversational exchanges that are insincere (i.e. sarcastic) and make inferences concerning the beliefs, intentions, feelings and meanings of speakers, when these need to be determined on the basis of emotional demenour. (PARTS 2 and 3). The test can be purchased from Harcourt Assessment.
