Psychology and climate change Citizens’ involvement could help our nation to make up its mind to act on climate change, according to Dr Ben Newell from the School of Psychology. Julia Gillard’s recent proposal for a “Citizens’ Assembly on Climate Change” was greeted almost universally with scepticism and derision. But are there any reasons for thinking that the basic idea is not all bad?
