John Clark Memorial Scholarship in Psychology Closing date: 30 June, 2009 Residency: International and local students can apply Program Level: Postgraduate Research Value: $1,000 Tenure: One year only Selection Criteria: The scholarship has been established to encourage students to undertake/research in Psychology in the Faculty of Science. Applicants must be enrolled in a postgraduate program in Psychology undertaking research in an area concerned with the ongoing problems of the community, particularly the behaviour of the 'whole person' in a social milieu. The nature and merit of the postgraduate research may also form part of the assessment. Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must be: (i) enrolled in a research higher degree in Psychology. (ii) undertaking research or study in an area which is concerned with applying the findings of psychology to ongoing problems in the community in such a manner as to take as the subject the behaviour and experience of the“whole person, functioning in an ongoing social milieu”. How to Apply: Applicants should submit a CV with a 1 page covering letter addressing the selection criteria to Trevor Clulow, School of Psychology by 30 June, 2009.
