At UNSW we have a number of groups interested in neuropsychological function. The Clinical Neuropsychology group focuses specifically upon clinical implications of brain disorders and each year they produce a newsletter highlighting some of the work conducted in that year.
The 2007 Newsletter details 12 different studies that have been completed or are underway examining difficulties in social cognition and emotion as well as other aspects of cognitive function in people suffering from traumatic brain injuries, stroke, mild cognitive impairment and dementia as well as those who suffer anoxia from heroin overdose.
